Dr. George Zgourides
George D. Zgourides, M.D., Psy.D., is a family physician, clinical psychologist, massage therapist, with a whole-person approach to wellness and the complexities of modern life. With many years of experience in education, family medicine and sexual medicine, Dr. Zgourides has taught and treated thousands of people.
Dr. Zgourides holds active memberships in the American Academy of Family Practice, Texas Academy of Family Practice, Texas Urological Society, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, International Society for Sexual Medicine, American Association of Integrative Medicine, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and American Medical Writers Association.
Dr. Zgourides is the author of numerous books and articles on optimizing health through integrating medicine and psychology, including his textbook, Human Sexuality: Contemporary Perspectives and the new book STOP FEELING TIRED! 10 Mind-Body-Spirit Steps to Fight Fatigue and Feel Your Best (2nd Edition). He was previously a tenured member of the psychology faculty at the University of Portland (Portland, Oregon) and is currently a member of the family medicine residency faculty at John Peter Smith Hospital (Fort Worth, Texas).
