Ted Greener currently serves as Executive Director for Public Affairs at the Association of American Railroads (AAR), the primary trade organization for privately owned freight railroads. In this role, Greener manages all issue advocacy campaigns and policy communication at both the federal and state level, directing functions such as message development, coalition building, opinion writing, grassroots mobilization, media relations, newsletter communication, and event management.

He brings a decade of experience to the job, previously serving similar roles at DCI Group – one of the nation’s premier public affairs firms – and Ogilvy Public Relations – a multinational crisis and communications agency primarily dedicated to serving Fortune 500 companies.
