Mary Westheimer

Mary Westheimer , CEO of BookZone.com. A former free-lance writer, May has participated in every facet of publishing from writing to printing to publicity. During the past decade, she has share the keys to effective writing, publishing and marketing with hundreds of people while serving as executive director of the Arizone Author's Association, a founding member of the Arizona Book Publishing Association, president of Via Press, journalism and copywriting instructor, and a workshop and seminar facilitator. Mary has more than 350 credits in publications including Columbia Journalism Review, USA Today and Publishers Weekly. She has also written, edited, critiqued, contributed to or published more than 20 books, including The LIfetime Encyclopedia of Letters, The Writers Encyclopedia, and Hire Me. Her additional background in bookstore management and sales gives her an invaluable perspective on the publishing industry. In 1994 Mary was appointed president of BookZone, Home of the Net's Most Interesting Books, and in 2000 became the CEO. One of the oldest and best-known Internet book sites, BookZone has served more than 1,000 publishing professionals with Web site development and hosting services.
