Marc Ensign

Marc Ensign entered the internet field in 2001, following a 12-year career as a musician with the Tony Award winning Broadway musical “RENT,” when he launched a website design and SEO company called Sound-n-Vision. Since that time, Ensign and his team have supported more than 1,000 organizations and businesses, from small mom-and-pop enterprises to Fortune 500 companies including American Express and Nike. Ensign is currently CEO of the internet marketing firm re:think, which he established recently with his friend Tom McVey, former CEO of The Parker Group, which also supported businesses of all sizes in internet branding and marketing.

In addition to his book Search Engine Humanization, published earlier this year, Ensign has also written a number of SEO manuals designed to demystify the process for the business community, and he maintains a popular and highly entertaining blog. He is also a frequent speaker and seminar leader, and has shared the stage with well-known experts and motivators including Gary Vaynerchuk and Jairek Robbins. In addition to Inc. magazine, Ensign has been featured in PR Daily, ProBlogger and New Media Expo. Ensign has even been singled out by Matt Curtis, the notoriously critical head of Google’s spam team, who praised his SEO strategy as “solid.” He is the author of the upcoming book Be A Dick.

A longtime resident of New Jersey, Marc Ensign and his wife Aimee and their two children recently relocated to sunny Florida. Ensign and the re:think team are also active in their support of a number of charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the American Heart Association and numerous other good causes.
