Douglas Ell

Douglas Ell

Douglas Ell graduated early from MIT, where he double majored in math and physics. He holds a masters in theoretical mathematics from the University of Maryland and graduated law school magna cum laude. Douglas is currently a prominent attorney in the Washington DC area.

As a lawyer, Douglas Ell learned how to sift through competing arguments and carefully consider different points of view, skills critical to untangling the confused and often emotional relationship between science and religion.

His legal training and work, combined with his academic science background and a lifetime of independent study, has given him a uniquely grounded approach to science, religion, and philosophy.

He is the author of Counting To God: A Personal Journey Through Science to Belief.
