Cindy Miller
As president of Cindy Miller Communications, Cindy helps organizations improve their strategic communications to get the best results from both traditional and social media. Cindy built her communications and management skills as the Metro Editor for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, directing news coverage for the state of Georgia with a staff of more than 100 journalists. She has a master’s degree in business administration.
Cindy has worked with numerous organizations, including Google, FedEx, Coca-Cola, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Allgood Pest Solutions, 352 Media Group, IMA Corporate Interiors, Arylessence, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Marietta Daily Journal, The Associated Press and the U.S. military newspaper Stars and Stripes.
Cindy’s recent projects include directing the communications for JUSTGeorgia, a coalition that played an important role in the 2013 sweeping reform of Georgia’s juvenile justice code. In 2011, Cindy served as the communications director for 11 campaigns to educate voters and advocate passage of a 1 percent sales tax to fund transportation projects around the state.
Cindy is a member of Vistage, an international network of CEOs and business owners. She is a past president of the Atlanta Women’s Network, an organization dedicated to promoting the role of women in business, and New Media Women Entrepreneurs, an effort supported by the McCormick Foundation that provides funding to women-run initiatives in new media.
