Amit Mathradas

Amit Mathradas, GM and Head of North American Small Business of PayPal, is responsible for the full P&L of our North American small business segment, representing approx. 6 million merchants with annual TPV less than $500k each, but collectively driving more than $1 billion in revenue in 2015. He directly manages the U.S. teams responsible for acquisition, activation, cross-sell and retention of small businesses, in addition to working closely with the dedicated Canadian Small Business teams as well.

Amit and his team are key drivers of setting and executing PayPal’s long-term strategy to serve small businesses—with all current and future products and services across all of the company’s brands. He and his team drive strategic input into the product development process through the Product Manager Marketing (PMM) model. Amit is also responsible for managing and facilitating sales and marketing execution across all of PayPal’s shared channels that address small businesses in North America.

Amit joined PayPal in November 2015 from Web.com Group, where he spent 2+ years as the Senior Vice President and GM overseeing a number of categories focused on small businesses—including websites, email, hosting, security and e-commerce. Prior to that, Amit spent over 14 years at Dell Inc. working on the brand’s entry into multiple new products and expansion into new channels. In his final role at Dell, Amit served as the GM for Dell’s small business division focused on bringing growth back to the segment. In this position, his responsibilities included managing the P&L, go-to-market strategy (for both direct and indirect channels), merchandising and online (Dell.com for work).

He earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Wittenberg University in Ohio with a concentration in Management and Economics.

In his personal life, Amit is an avid traveler and food enthusiast. In his spare, he time loves staying active.
